2013-2014 -THE  ACTIVITIES OF NSS TEAM OF VCSHSS, PUTHENVELIKARA.

            The NSS team of V C S H S S of Puthenvelikara,had been very busy in going through a variety of activities which included awareness programmes, creative works,vegitation,safe-guarding our environment, conducting exhibitions, fund raising ventures for poor,planting trees and making a green carpet for nature, cleaning our surroundings etc.

                                         The programme started with the effective talk of the Environmentalist Sri.Ambithab Bachan,Who successfully imparted the importance of maintaining a healthy environment.Giving awareness to the local residents and cleaning the surroundings were seen to,with the active participation of the N.S.S team." Cleanliness is next to holiness".It is noticed that this holiness is further kindled with the team work of the local residents and the N.S.S team.

The N.S.S team of V.C.S.H.S.S,is always very active and vigilant in improvising the situations of their locality.Their blood surges with inspiration with the one solid aim of creating a better world for all.With this aim in mind, the members of the  N.S.S,come to life,with a new spirit of energy to do something for their locality.

HOW THE N.S.S TEAM MADE USE OF THE ANTI-DRUGS DAY TO PROTECT THEIR LOCALITY FROM THE VICES OF DRUG ADDICTION 

                              " Drug addiction is a social crime and a personal disaster"
                                 
                          The truth of this quote is fully acknowledged by the n.s.s team and they wanted to save the people of their locality from the disasters of drug addiction.For this ,they conducted a signature campaign ,along with the cycle rally ,bearing a torch of goodness for others to follow.Their endeavour was met with an answering response in the form of the parents who actively took part in the signature campaign.
